Sophie Klagsbrun

Sophie specialises in political and corporate communication. She regularly works with clients on complex communication strategies, focusing on the healthcare, tech and consumer industry.

Before joining BOLDT, she worked as a junior professional for the federal German development cooperation agency (GIZ), strategically advising the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on policy formulation and crisis communication. For example, she assisted in several high profile events during the German G20 presidency and enabled north-south knowledge exchange on innovative information and communication technologies.

Sophie holds a master’s degree in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Leipzig, where she focused on political participation processes, e.g. the role of fake news in electoral campaigns. Besides, she studied International Relations at Sciences Po Bordeaux University (France).

Beyond her native German, Sophie is fluent in English and French.
